create make write: ask me (or my chatgpt) about notes or writing

👋 Hey, happy Monday.

Here's a quick explainer about how I built a custom ChatGPT for my writing.

I also have a Substack (more on culture + literature) and I wrote a semi-humorous take on some new pencils I bought. I think some people on this list may like it.

Now, here's the article about my custom ChatGPT...

---

I had some time on my hands (because I'm looking for a new role in marketing) and so I quickly built my own custom ChatGPT.

For years, I’ve been deep in the weeds of writing and productivity, building out frameworks, and refining ideas on Medium.

Now, with a custom ChatGPT, I can access the ideas from those articles quickly.

How It Works:

1️⃣ Uploading the past articles: I fed 700+ articles from Medium into a custom ChatGPT.

2️⃣ My writing style, amplified: This model learned my voice, my go-to topics, and my style nuances. It’s like having an extra memory card, one that can analyze what I’ve written about.

3️⃣ Creativity on demand: Whether I’m staring at a blank page or revisiting a half-finished draft, my GPT can instantly generate new ideas or build on existing ones, all in my unique voice.

You can access it here.

You only need a ChatGPT account to access it, but you will need a premium account to make your own.

Here's what it looks like.

Creativity, unlocked

We often think of creativity as something that flows naturally—or not at all. But the custom GPT takes different ideas and blends them together, like a Venn diagram.

It’s like an endless brainstorm session with myself, but without the frustration of hitting a mental block.

It surfaces ideas I might have forgotten or brings fresh angles to topics I’ve already explored.

It can also summarize ideas I’ve already written about in an easy format, like this:

Imagine having that kind of creative ally in your corner.

Have you done something similar with your notes or writing?

Let me know. I'd love to hear about it.

Keep going-
